LinkedIn Pulse / Description
LinkedIn Pulse is one of the cleanest looking news readers available for iOS. LinkedIn Pulse offers alarge number of sites to pull content from covering subject like gaming, politics, sports, food, and entertainment to name a few.
The interface is another strength of LinkedIn Pulse, using columns and side-scrolling format for the newest updates. Tapping on a story will load a simplified version of the story or users can view the content loaded as it would be viewed from a normal browser.
LinkedIn Pulse offers so many feeds that most users will never lack content to view. LinkedIn Pulse can also load content and store it locally so it can be read offline.
Additionally, LinkedIn Pulse can send content to Instapaper, Evernote, and Pocket. The app really focuses on being an all-inclusive content reader. LinkedIn Pulse offers content from the larger content sites, but also allows users to add lesser known sites through their feeds which it intelligently searches for. Some sites are not optimized for the feed view and the text view does not work as well, but the web view works without problems.
LinkedIn Pulse will also integrate with services like Tumblr, Flickr, and Instagram to provide personalized news feeds. You can add content from each of these services to their own categories or you can integrate them into an existing one.
LinkedIn Pulse is one of the most full featured and easy to use news readers on iOS but it faces stiff competition from Flipboard.
